Can I have a word, please?

It wasn't that easy, was it? To deal with all the unknowns that lay out there but we can conquer it, we have to.

A Cold Kiss

A cold kiss on the cheek,

These words that did not take flight,
in the end be they my plight.
That cold caress of death.
How it robs us of breath.

Inspiration Lately

Lately, I've been drawing my inspiration from pictures. I see captions when I look at them, little sentences frozen in time just like pictures are moments frozen in time. I'll try to post more 'one liners' as I've currently called them until I come up with a better title. Maybe 'a short note' or 'just a word, please?' That's really all for now, silent world.

these notebook pages with love poems lined.
it's your stories that I miss,
that underlying sense of bliss.
come find me and take my hand,
and promise me a golden band.

Back from oblivion

Sometimes I'd gaze longingly at this blog and think "maybe I should write something today" and then I'd go back to my homework. So this summer Poemer will come out of oblivion and maybe have the occasional thing to say, even though I feel like the words just float around in space.
